The technology that drives the smartphone industry is advancing at breathtaking speed. Those who are keen have noticed that the newest and fastest devices do not enjoy their stay in the “next big thing” status. They are eclipsed by the news of an improved device.

There are rumors that Samsung Company is set to launch Galaxy S9 by February 2018. People want to know if Galaxy S9 will be better than the iPhone X.

The iPhone X is equipped with an A-10 Fusion 16-nanometer chip. Apple has always received good reviews because of the A-series chips.

Custom A11 Bionic processor powers the iPhone X. It also comes with 3GB RAM and an internal storage of 64GB. The device packs a 12 Megapixels rear primary camera and a 7 Megapixel front camera.

The phone was designed to run iOS 11 and has a 2716 mAh non-removable battery. It measures 143.60×70.90×7.70 and weighs 174 grams. The iPhone X is also a single SIM smartphone designed to accept a Nano-SIM.

The device has all connectivity options. iPhone X has the proximity sensor, the ambient light sensor, an accelerometer and a barometer. The iPhone X also possesses the sharpest display and a facial recognition feature.

    Performance Comparison

Between the Galaxy S9 and The iPhone X

To stand out, S9 must improve its processing speed. The most likely solution would be to feature a beta-version of eight nm processors from Qualcomm. In addition, an improvement in the inefficiencies of background applications in android would also help. A trial against competition was done, and the iPhone X comfortably defeated all previous Android devices. The A-10 Fusion 16-nanometer chip that the iPhone X possess is the fastest.

The Galaxy S9 has not been released, but it is important to note that the smartphone has dramatically copied features that the iPhone X possess. The iPhone X’s facial recognition software feature and a dual-lens camera may also be replicated in the Galaxy S9.

The iPhone X has a Hexa Core processor while the Galaxy S9 will most likely have an Octa-core processor or an improvement.

The iPhone X will beat the Galaxy S9 when it comes to performance and features. The iPhone X was an excellent gamble for Apple. People gave it a warm reception. Altering the iPhone design was also a brilliant move because it looks unique from previous iPhones.

The Galaxy S9 will also be a great phone, but unlikely to beat the speed of iPhone X. however, it is likely to pack more firepower, better camera, better resolution, and added technologies. Android lovers should look forward to buying it once it is released.
