    The boom of Social Media started about a decade ago but the first Social Media site was created and made life about two decades ago. Coming into the present scenario, there are 4 channels that win the market race and they are Facebook. Whatsapp, Instagram, and Snapchat.

    In this article, we will be taking you through the impact of Social Media on In 2018 by taking Whatsapp into the limelight.

    We will start with the positive and negative effects of Social Media on today’s youth.

    There are numerous positive effects. However, there are a similar number of negative effects that accompany the usage of sites, for example, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google +, Tumblr, Instagram, gaming sites, and online journals.

    In total, it helps you remain connected to people from all over the world, helps you remain updated to recent happening, ask for help in urgency, and so much more. As we have talked about the positive effects, we will now talk about the negative effects of Social Media on youth.

    With the end goal to settle on the correct decisions, we should dive in and explore this point completely.

    Cyberbullying (using the smartphone to threaten or bully somebody, more often than not by sending scary messages) is a negative effect that one can have by spending time on the web, causes emotional trauma, and some of the time even prompts suicide. There were about a million suicide across the globe due to cyber bully as per the latest report on a reouted International daily.

    There are other negative impacts such as a decline in studies/grades, addiction to text and not giving enough time for a prospect, and so much more.

    Whatsapp is a great application that allows you to text and call for free with users registered and online through a smartphone/Personal Computer with an internet connection. It is very famous for users sending Good Morning Images to users on chat.

    There are features such as Disable Online Status, Change Theme of chats, story and status updates, send messages when offline, and so much more that attract today’s youth. Their day starts with a Good Morning and ends with also sharing a Good Night Image with their friends and lived one’s on Whatsapp.
