Asus the company from Taiwan has published on it’s forum Zen Talk a list of devices to receive the update for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. According to the entry it will be a while until the smartphone from Asus will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The rollout of the update will take place in the second quarter of 2016.
Among the devices that are to be equipped with the update includes the PadFone S and different versions of the ZenFone 2, such as the Deluxe and the laser. In addition, the ZenFone Selfie, the ZenFone Max and the Zen1Fone laser will also get the Marshmallow update.
The update will also replace the built-in Asus Apps with Google Apps. The Asus applications for Mail, Calendar and Messenger are replaced by the corresponding Google Apps.
