Upgrade Micromax A120 Canvas 2 Colours with OTA Kitkat Android 4.4.2 Update

A few days back i posted about updating Micromax A120 Canvas 2 Colours manually with SP Flash Tools but now on September 1st 2014, Micromax officially launched its Kitkat Android 4.4.2 update over OTA and can be installed directly in A120 without PC.

So, today i am posting this little tutorial showing two different ways to update Micromax A120 Canvas 2 Colours to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.

 

Update Micromax A120 Canvas 2 Colours to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat :-

There are two ways to install Android 4.4.2 Kitkat in Micromax A120 Canvas 2 Colours and i mentioned both of them below.

1. With OTA :- (Diffuculty Level – Easy)

The over-the-air (OTA) Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Canvas 2 Colours is about 283MB in size and will include Music Album art on the lock screen along with an improved user interface.

You can install this OTA Update just by rebooting your phone and then you will get update notification, just open that notification and start downloading Kitkat update (Wifi Recommended)

 

2. Manually with PC :- (Difficulty level – Hard)

You will require PC for this method, this method is very helpful when you have bricked your device.
