    Micromax Bolt D321

    Introduction
Micromax has added one more device to its Bolt series, with this D321 smartphone. This is a mid-ranger phone.

    Performance
This phone is powered by a dual-core Mediatek MT6572 that run at 1.3GHz. It is supported by only 512MB of RAM, with a mere 4GB of internal space (1.2GB left for apps). This device sports a 5-inch TN (twisted nematic) LCD screen with 480×854 pixel resolution. With its 1,800 mAh battery, the company said it can last for  300 hours of standby time and 7 hours of talktime.

    Camera
This phone have a 5 megapixel main camera on the back, capable of shooting 480p video, with LED flash. While on the front of the phone, there is a 0.3 megapixel front shooter.

    Verdict
This is a low mid-ranger phone with not so much value in it. Even though it is powered by a dual-core processor, it is not a powerful one, as it’s a Cortex-A7 core running at only 1.3GHz. Nowaday, quad-core seems to be the lowest choice when it comes to phone’s processing power to meet the ever demanding apps and games requirements. Plus, the 512MB RAM is ancient, as the 4 year old Nexus One has the same amount of RAM as this phone. As the camera goes, it is also the same as the Nexus One, 5MP with 480p video mode. Last week Micromax has launched the Bolt A82, a phone with 5-inch 480p screen, 512MB of RAM, 5MP camera, 1,800mAh battery, a dual-core MT6572. See the similarity? You be the judge.
