CyanogenMod Rom for Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2
Before proceeding further please make sure that your handset is rooted and have install CWM Recovery, if not then visit below links to do so :-
This is a Custom Rom for Micromax Canvas 2.2 A114 and MyPhone Agua Cyclone (As both of these phones have same specifications).

Installation Instructions :-
Step 1 :- Firstly Make Sure to take backup your Nandroid with CWM Recovery.
Step 2 :- Download and Place Flashable Zip of Rom into root of your SD Card.
Step 3 :- Now go to Recovery by Pressing Vol+ and Vol – and Power Button simultaneously.
Step 4 :- Do a complete data wipe, cache and delvik cache clean.
Step 5 :- After That go to Install Zip from SD Card and Select ROM File.
Step 6 :- Wait for it to Flash.

this is not a cyanogenmod rom, please make a ported complete cyanogenmod rom.....

The link is not working. Please check into it.
The ROM does not work.
It installs and is stuck at the "MY l Phone" logo, it does not boot. I tried installing 2-3 times but no success.
Disappointed.
try replacing boot.img from the stock rom in the rom zip, and please do let me know.
I tried installing the ROM again, and to my surprise it installed. I don't know what cause the problem earlier, but this time it installed. (I didnt replace boot.img)
The ROM is excellent, however there is one minor and one major problem, minors is that it is still in Chinese language, though we can change the language in setting, some things are still shown in Chinese itself, however it doesn't bother much. The major problem is that it has soft buttons enabled and there is no option to turn off the soft buttons at the bottom of the screen, so there are 2 set of buttons, one whcih phones already has (its touch capacitive button) and these softkeys which take up the screen (like nexus).

Thanks for this review, however i myself don't know how to turn off those soft buttons, but you try turning them off from Gravity Box Module of Exposed Framework (Its pre-installed).

To Turn It Off Try Editing build.prop File And Find The Line
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
and remove this line or turn 0 to 1 and this should turn the navbar off

it showing installation aborted in my a114

i already done it before installation, even i am also trying it with another installation files, but its not working, please help
are you on any other rom like MIUI or LEWA??

I have flashed cyanogenmod. Its great thanks dude.
But only one problem. The MyPhone logo is showing up during boot even after restoring my stock rom. I have tried cleaning cache and davlink also. But no result. Plz give me sugestion
for that you have to flash logo.bin file from stock firmware.

Hi, when I again use backup recovery. I got original stock rom but on starting my phone logo appear, than micromax logo comes. Plz tell me how to remove this my phone logo. I had done data clean, cache clean n dalvik clean too.
you need to flash you stock logo.bin file with Flash tools.

open your phone in recovery mode there is 4th option backup and recovery, select it, there u will find 2nd option option of recovery, select it. thats it. :)
Hardilk one more help when i flash the backup of my phone so i delete the factory reset ; particitation cache ; dalvik cache ; then go to backup restore naaa ple telll mee
